I have been told that Tomorite tomato feed is good for roses, and have found one that is ready to use without the need for dilution.

Is it good for roses, and if so, how often should I use it,a and how much.

The instructions for tomatoes is 100ml (capful) every 7-14 days. Is this the same for roses?

Any advice welcome

Thank you very much in advance.

You would do far better to use a rose food on your roses.

Invest in something like Toprose, a much better all round feed for roses. Follow the instructions on the box though.

Aphids and Black-spot will soon be appearing on roses too, if they haven't already. Now is the time to start fortnightly spraying to combat them so that the plants look great.

I have aphids on all my roses and also on my buddleia. I have been spraying them.

Yesterday evening I found a rosemary bettle on my lavender and 2 stems with cuckoo spit on them. I promtly removed the affected stems and the beetle as I do not want the leafhoppers growing up.

I suffered rosemary beetles last year, and I know that I am going to have to keep my eyes peeled. Especiallyas I have a huge rosemary plants and lavender wich has self seeded spruting everywhere. Rosemary beetle restaurants with all you can eat buffets all over my garden. The cheek is that they don't even pay for what they eat. Not even a tip. LOL
