Hello and welcome Richard I am new to veggie growing so maybe some else could answer this to you.

Sounds like a great idea.

We have been given extra ground in our community garden to grow veggies .

Could say its like an allotment.

Good luck.

Yes, you could try this, or with the same method, comfrey and/or stinging nettles work too.
Smelly but good!

HI and welcome,
Chicken poo in water is briliant, leave to stew for a couple of weeks, move whats left in the sack to the compost heap, use liquid at 2.5 litres in a 10ltr watering can. water at the base of the veggies.

Be sure to water both before and after the dose, though. Chicken manure tea is pretty strong stuff. The thing to remember about feeding: too little feeding will slow things down, but too much will kill things. I've found it better to err on the side of caution.
