Saxifraga aizoon is not flowering anymore

A couple of years ago I bought a Saxifraga aizoon. At the time it had lovely little white flowers held on tall slender stems. It has not flowered since, but otherwise looks healthy and has grown a lot. Anyone got experience of this plant? Any ideas how I can encourage it to flower?
Thanks folks :-)

Sid, if the saxifrage has been in the same pot for 'a couple of years' it could probably do with repotting. Use a peat free compost, JI#2 with an equal amount of grit and add a 'little' bit of lime to perk up the silvery leaves. Use the next size up pot. S. aizoon should also do well outside in a gritty soil in a rockery type situation.

Hi Sid I have found it flowers better when in the Rock Garden, but is nev er a mass of flowers, possibly considers its lovely chalky silvery rosettes are sufficient. I find it prefers slight shade but I live in what is usually a very dry area.

Bulbaholic (good name!) - yes, I have repotted it at least once since I got fact it has grown alot - it was only a few little rosettes in the middle of the pot at first - just never flowered. Seems healthy/happy.

Poannua - thanks - maybe I should put it somewhere where it'll get a bit of shade - I had assumed it wanted full sun as it looked to me like a succulent and with the silvery leaves as well. Yes, I do appreciate it for its nice silvery leaves - it's a pretty little thing :-)

How do I say thanks?
