As I have done for several years, I have two rows of climbing French beans (each row having two varieties, Cosse Violette and Cobra). They came up all right and the earlier row came into good production about the second week of August. But after a couple of weeks, the leaves started to go yellow, and the coming beans stopped growing. The same is happening with the second row, which I sowed 1 month after thr first. Much the same happened last year, after about a month of production. The new rows are in a different position from last year's; and I dug in a lot of compost before sowing them. What can be the problem?

yellow leaves could be halo blight.
