I think I am about to gibe up on my trailing begonias, its the first year i have ever tried them as plug plants and oh boy are they hard work, I planted some in a hanging basket and some in a polanter, the hanging basket when I looked this week had the most massive yellow rubbery fungus growing out of it, so I there al of that one away. The polanter, although they are growing albeit straggly I put them outside last 2 days as its been warm and brought them in on nightime and now the leaves are turning from green to yellow, are these plants supposed to be this difficult.

I think you meant 'give up' on your trailing begonias. They could have gone rotten from all the coolness and damp/wet weather. I should think it must be the cold weather has made them perform badly. I lost a really old trailer tuber that had survived the winter in its basket, but did not survive that later long session of damp/cold wetness. Keep warm/watered until around now might be the answer.
