hi and good afternoon.
would it be ok to separate my clementis by cutting the hanging on stems which holds the plant together.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks mark:)))))

You can try Mark. but I find they are so delicate that trying to separate does too much damage at this stage. I tried cutting the tendrils rather than pulling apart but still managed to damage the stems. Better to enjoy it for now and next season start from pruning/regrowth to keep the stem more apart but you will need a wider support to?

I agree with our friend Drc .

But the way it looks a very healthy clematis.

I have the same problem they seem to grow overnight once they start, and once they have twined you can't seperate them without damage, I have been cross with myself a few times for not leaving them and broke off stems...lesson learnt for both of us for next year mark.
