We seam to have a lot of young Magpies in our garden this year. They are quite amusing to watch the things they do. Like all young they are learning. It’s such a shame they grow up to be such spiteful birds but I guess that’s nature. The adult birds are eating the tadpoles from the pond. Can anyone tell me how long it takes for a tadpole to grow into a frog. I can’t keep this tadpole watch up much longer!

I think it takes six weeks for them to get to the frog stage.

Sadie, it can happen that tadpoles take more than one season to mature. Weird but true.
