Love that blue penstemon. Is it Heavenly Blue? I have it but no flower buds as yet. Another month unless it warms up dramatically.
The acer is a beautiful tribute to your son. It must bring you so much joy and memories every year to see it.

Thanks Julia 🙂.
Thanks Eileen 🙂. The Penstemon is from a cutting from a friendly gardener … she thinks it’s Heavenly Blue, but I just think it’s very pretty.

I enjoyed your soft pastels, Sheila, and I too really like the blue penstemons - much daintier than a lot and a gorgeous shade. I think your acer must give you pleasure for itself and its association. It's beautiful.

Thanks very much Chris. I just hope some of them last … we’ve gone mad and agreed to ‘open’ our garden for the town, in two weeks’ time!

I enjoyed the tour of your June garden Sheila. It has a soft, pleasant and well balanced feeling to it.
The ‘Moonlight’ maple is special and has gorgeous colour in June.
The white clematis is beautiful as well.
