Sweetcorn Mirai Bicolour is regarded as one of the most delicious sweetcorn available. They are juicy and tender eaten raw or delicious for corn on the cob cooked in the normal way. Low in calories cobs are gluten free and a good source of fibre protein and pro-vitamin A vitamin C and the B vitamins.
These strong plants produce succulent 20cm cobs with extra tender sweet golden-yellow kernels - and an occasional white kernel - giving instant visual-appeal.

Sow: 13mm deep in 7cm (3in) pots of a good free-draining moist seed compost at 20-25C (68-77F). Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag until after germination which takes 7-10 days. Can also be sown direct outdoors once the soil has warmed. Sow two seeds every 90cm (36in) and later thin to the strongest seedling.

Growing: Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for a few days before planting out after all risk of frost has passed.

Aftercare: Keep well watered and mulch during dry periods.
