Can Also be Sown to Flower in Summer Cumin belongs to the parsley family and is grown for its seeds which are a main component of curry powder. Cumin is the second most popular spice in the world after black pepper and is widely used in North African Indian and Mexican dishes – it is also the main spice in chilli con carne. Sow March – July. Harvest July – Oct.  Height 30-50cm/12-20in.
