Reblooming Iris germanica, update

Hello, Hello, Look carefully I will do this only once!
Bearded Iris Istanbul is going to flower shortly, pictured below. It should have yellow standards with white falls, edged with purply. Unfortunately the primary rhizome on a bearded Iris flowers only once, then shrivels, so when this flowers it won’t flower again next year, as I have only had it 2 years and the secondary rhizomes haven’t developed yet. Secondly, if it becomes frosty the flower might not open or will be destroyed very quickly. You need a large clump of several rhizomes to be able to say it is truly a remont!
I also have an “Again and Again” remont Iris, which feeling down the leaves probably has a flower to come nestling in the leaves, too late.

Crikey lucky you I've only ever had one rebloom (Immortality) and that was only once.
Its almost springlike today so off back outside to enjoy :-), was supposed to be redecorating the kitchen but that can wait for the colder wetter weather.
